This ones
:
the Y button we choose is to move what we will select just in the up and
down (Y axis) positions without let them go to the left or right and to make
them go to top or down
The left one will let you work with the object points or nodes, the midle
one, the object lines and the one on the right will let you work with faces
the front button is to let us select just the front faces of the object....
we have a mesh so we have front and back faces
and this
is the window selection tool (drag)
I'm still in top view
select the points like in this pic
check this button
on the left and don't click on the screen
or you unselect the points you have selected before
now change to side view
and with the move button
drag the mouse up like in the pic (uncheck the
X and Z buttons to move it just up and down)
now... again to top view and choose again the
window selection tool
and select only this points
go again to side view and drag them up ... like
this
now go to ortho view and change the view of the
object in this button
...
the default one
it looks like a pillow to you?
now this is the top side... we must do it all
over again with the back button selected instead of the front one
then lets do it... go to top view again... and change the button on the
left ...to back
select the first middle 9 squares as we did before.... you will not see
them... they are hide
change to side
view , make sure the selected nodes are the ones you want and choose the
move button to drag them down... more or less the same measure you made
before
Sometimes the back and front buttons doesn't work as
it's supposed to, if so, you can always rotate the object. To rotate the
object, go to the arrow mode
select the cube and then edit - rotate -
